2012 ROCK'N OUT FOR ISABELLA-2ND ANNUAL FIGHT AGAINST SMA BENEFIT WEEKEND
Come out Saturday & Sunday, May 19-20 to Cullen's Cove at 6233 Mechanicsville Turnpike for 2012 Rock'n Out For Isabella Weekend to benefit the fight against SMA(Spinal Muscular Atrophy). It's a fun-filled weekend for the entire family with bake sales, a car wash, face painting, a DJ and more! The fun continues into the evening with live bands, raffles, giveaways and more! All proceeds from the benefit will be donated to FightSMA. And now added for Sunday, May 20 will have a Royal Flush Poker League Charity Team Tournament with all proceeds going to FightSMA. 2012 GREAT DAYS OF CPR - FREE CPR TRAINING
Sudden cardiac arrest happens to people of all ages and most often in the home. Fast and effective CPR can double or triple the chance of survival. The Central Virginia CPR Council, will hold the 2012 Great Days of CPR on June 15, 16 and 18 with a goal of educating between 3,000-5,000 people in Hands Only CPR. The first 1000 people who are trained and committ to sharing what they have learned will receive an AHA CPR Anytime Kit, donated by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
